Privacy Policy

• Account data: name, email, phone, city, password credentials handled by our authentication provider.
• Project data: rooms, styles, budgets, timelines, notes, shopping carts, sourcing requests, quotes and order details.
• Uploads: room photos, floor plans, product images, inspiration pins and documents you send us.
• Conversations: messages exchanged with the Apryl assistant and with our team, including voice input you choose to send.
• Transaction data: fees paid, invoices and order references. Card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and diagnostic logs.

• To deliver the service: build sourcing plans, match products, negotiate, place and track orders.
• To operate your account, authenticate you and keep the service secure.
• To generate AI outputs such as plans, product matches, name suggestions and room visualizations.
• To communicate: order updates, consultation confirmations, support replies and, if you opt in, marketing.
• To improve the service using aggregated or de-identified data.
• To comply with law, enforce our terms and defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We process on the basis of contract performance (delivering the service you asked for), legitimate interests (security, service improvement, fraud prevention), consent (marketing and optional analytics) and legal obligation (tax and record-keeping).

• Service providers under contract: hosting and database, email delivery, AI model providers, web data providers used for product and price lookups, and payment processing.
• Retailers and carriers, only what is needed to place, pay for and deliver your order.
• Our own team members working on your project.
• Authorities or advisers where required by law, or in a merger, acquisition or asset sale.

Content you send to the Apryl assistant, including images, is transmitted to our AI providers to generate a response. We instruct providers not to use your content to train their models; we cannot audit them beyond their contractual commitments. Avoid sending sensitive information such as government IDs, health details or financial account numbers in chat.

We keep account and project records for as long as your account is active and then for up to seven years to meet tax, accounting and legal-defence obligations. Uploaded photos and chat history can be deleted on request, subject to records we must retain. Backups expire on a rolling schedule.

• Access, correct, delete or export your personal information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
• Opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any message.
• California residents: rights to know, delete, correct and to non-discrimination under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined.
• EEA/UK residents: the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Make a request at privacy@apryl.app. We verify identity before acting and respond within the time the law allows.

We use encrypted transport, access controls, row-level database permissions and private storage for uploads. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security and you use the service at your own risk.

We operate in the United States. If you use the service from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the US under appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

The service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy; the date at the top changes and material updates are notified by email. Cookies are covered in our Cookie Policy.
